Juliette McClendon, PhD (they/them) is a Black, queer, neurodivergent licensed clinical psychologist. Juliette grew up in California and attended Harvard University to study psychology as an undergraduate. Their PhD is from Washington University in St. Louis, where their dissertation focused on racial health disparities. They trained at Massachusetts Mental Health Center and the VA Boston Healthcare system, where they focused on supporting people experiencing PTSD, schizophrenia, and borderline personality disorder.
Juliette specializes in working with autistic and ADHD individuals who hold intersectional identities. They strive to create a safe, affirming and culturally sensitive space to empower people to share their experiences. Juliette uses assessment to help people put words to their experiences and identify their needs. They personally understand the importance of assessment as a tool for understanding and well-being. Their special interests include musicals, personal finance, and psychology.
