Isolation Lies
You'll see it on our merchandise and all over our messaging.

Isolation lies.

It's the through line for all of the care and education that we provide.

But what does it mean to us?

I left a toxic work environment amidst severe burnout. I knew it needed to rest, but there was something else. It felt like my hands were full of potential energy, and the only way to get rid of it was to start writing about what I had experienced and the things that it had done to my mental and physical health.

I expected that the response from anyone who read it would be rife with sympathy. "I'm so sorry that happened to you. I can't believe it."

Instead, what I received in return were hundreds if not thousands of people sharing that they had been through the same thing and thought it was just them.

How could it be possible that so many of us experienced the same thing and didn't know we were all going through it?

It's because isolation lies. Isolation tells us that it's only us and we're all alone. Isolation serves the toxic environment by making you believe that you're the problem because no one else is experiencing it.

Isolation lies.
Our groups and treatment plans were designed to help you overcome that by reinforcing that it's not you, and we're here to support you to learning that.
